Corporate Quiz Nights & Professional Quizmaster Hire

Bringing colleagues together, one questionable answer at a time!

Organising a corporate event, office social or company Christmas party? Looking for something a little different to entertain your colleagues, clients or staff?

How about a proper quiz night?

I’m Ian Scott, a professional quizmaster and entertainer with over 20 years’ experience writing and presenting original quiz shows for companies, organisations and private clients throughout the UK.

My speciality is taking a room full of people, some enthusiastic quizzers, some less so, and turning them into a collection of cheerfully competitive teams enjoying a thoroughly entertaining evening.

No awkward team-building exercises, no embarrassing anyone in front of the boss and absolutely no requirement to know the capital of Burkina Faso.

Every quiz is written and presented personally by me, with questions designed to entertain a broad range of ages, interests and abilities.

From City firms and corporate Christmas parties to office socials and client entertainment evenings, I’ll provide everything needed for a lively, professionally hosted event.

You provide the people. I’ll provide the questions, the entertainment and, hopefully, a few arguments about the answers on the journey home.

A Quizmaster Who Knows How to Work a Room

Writing good questions is only half the job.

Presenting them properly is where the entertainment really begins.

As an experienced professional entertainer, I’m completely comfortable hosting events for anything from a handful of teams to a large corporate audience.

My style is friendly, welcoming and occasionally cheeky, with just enough banter to keep things lively without turning the evening into a comedy roast.

Nobody gets embarrassed, nobody feels excluded and everyone is encouraged to join in.

After all, it’s supposed to be a fun night out, not an examination.

Everything Taken Care Of

When you book one of my quiz nights, you won’t need to worry about finding a microphone, printing answer sheets or wondering who’s going to mark the scores.

I arrive with everything needed to run the show, including:

• A professionally written quiz tailored to your event.
• A high-quality PA system and microphone.
• All necessary question papers, answer sheets and pens.
• Music and picture rounds where appropriate.
• An experienced quizmaster to present the evening, keep score and maintain order amongst the more competitive teams!

Most events run for approximately two hours, although the format and running time can be adjusted to suit your requirements.

All you need to provide is the venue, the contestants and perhaps a prize for the winners.

I’ll take care of the rest.

Not Just for Corporate Events!

Although corporate quiz nights are a speciality, I’m equally happy entertaining guests at birthday parties, anniversaries, charity fundraisers, social clubs and traditional pub quiz nights.

Whether it’s a private celebration or a room full of colleagues enjoying a well-earned evening away from their desks, the principle is always the same.

Good questions, good company and a thoroughly entertaining evening.
