If you are looking for an energetic, vibrant and exciting live act for your wedding reception or corporate event, then you’ve found it! Columbia are a four (sometimes five) piece live band with a stunning set-list of both timeless party anthems and contemporary hit songs in their locker. From funk and soul to rock n roll, they bring any party to life with their awesome talent and their raw energy live onstage. Columbia play all their instruments live, so there’s no MP3 backing tracks or electronic drum programming….just pure, real music!

Your Complete Wedding Day Music Package

Together with Columbia, I can offer one of the most impressive all-day Wedding music packages you’ll find anywhere in the UK. Firstly, during your Wedding Breakfast I can offer you either my Essex Wedding DJ service of background music at the perfect volume for your guests, or you could have Columbia’s guitarist playing acoustically live during the meal. Following the meal and speeches, I will play background music until the evening guests have arrived. The First Dance is then introduced and I’ll welcome guests to the floor for the following hour. At the most appropriate point in the evening, I’ll hand over to Columbia for 90 mins (or 2 x 45min sets) and by this time your guests will truly be in full swing! Following the bands’ final song, I’ll continue the party until closing time, creating a grand finale for the bride and groom to end their perfect day!

To create the perfect show, you need the correct tools for the job……and I have bundles of hi-tech high quality sound and lighting equipment to make it happen! From LED stage lights to large video screens and laser shows, I can custom-build the show to your exact requirements. I use top video technology to provide visual effects and live footage of the band and the audience, plus I have computer-controlled lighting to add that ‘concert’ feel to your big day.

In March 2013, Columbia played a fantastic charity gig at the Orsett Hall Hotel. We used a single screen video backdrop and our LED lighting systems to enhance the event. Please take a look at the video below:
