We hired Ian after meeting him at a wedding fair pre-COVID, and eventually got around to getting married in August! Ian was very patient and understanding when we had to move the date twice, and he was also really reassuring when we expressed concerns about the music tastes of our guests.
The wedding reception couldn't have been better!! The music was perfectly judged, Ian took our requests and mixed them in with his choices. We had so many compliments from our family and friends on how good the whole night was. We would definitely recommend Ian again.

My fiancé & I booked Ian some while ago and after three date changes due to Covid (Ian was very accommodating!) we got married this year at last. Ian was recommended to me by a DJ friend of mine. When a DJ recommends another DJ I have had high hopes and we wasn't disappointed.
Ian took some requests, but most of the night was left to his expertise.
Not at one point was the dance floor empty and many of the guests commented on his work.

We had a fabulous day thank you, and the service you provided was excellent. We had no complaints from any of our guests, the dance floor was full at all times so we were more than happy. Your lighting was fab and we were grateful for your colour co-ordination as we had forgotten to tell you the colour we wanted! We were really happy with the white cloth dj stand, it looked really nice. Thank you for your professional service we would definitely highly recommend you.

It was great to have you at our reception; everyone we spoke too said you gave a great show and were a real plus for the evening, keeping our guests dancing away throughout, those that could be dragged from the bar! We’d particularly like to thank you for the goodbye circle at the end, we both thought it was a lovely idea and certainly made sure we were able to say goodbye to everyone. Thanks for making our wedding reception an absolute success. All the guests commented on how good the music was and how much they enjoyed the evening. The DJ played all different types of music to start with and then whatever kept people on the dance floor (which was pretty much all night!!), we even got to do a farewell circle at the end of the evening which the DJ had suggested we do if we had enough guests, this was a lovely idea and myself and the groom enjoyed that part thoroughly. To top it all off the DJ seemed to be enjoying himself as much as the guests which was great to see! I would highly recommend the services of DJ Ian Scott and would not hesitate in hiring him again for another event.
