A very busy weekend ahead for me! On Thursday, I’ll be hosting a quiz and then the after-show party for insurance giant AON at a city centre venue in Chelmsford. Really looking forward to that, as they’ve opted for the Film, TV & Music Quiz Show which is always popular. Friday’s event has now been moved to the end of January so I feel a social evening calling me! Then on Saturday, I team up once again with my 80’s co-pilot Ian Sellens for another fabulous 80’s Mix Tape Night, this time in the brilliantly refurbished Regent Ballroom in Stanford-Le-Hope. (The last time I was there, I was filming an episode of TOWIE as their quiz master!)
January is notoriously a quiet (and skint!) month for DJs everywhere, but it seems this year people (and companies) have made a concerted effort to lift the gloom of bad weather and the Christmas comedown, and my diary is filling up with last-minute bookings in these early weeks! Long may that continue!
