The teachers deserve a Prom too!

A big thank you to all the teachers, teaching assistants and school staff who attended Orsett Hall’s ‘School’s Out’ party last Friday (20/7/12). After three weeks of non-stop School Proms for the various leavers around the county, it was the grown-ups turn! And with beer & wine permitted this time! A truly great night, we got to play some real classics along the way….such a shame it’s all over until next year!

De La Soul – Kings of Hip Hop triumphant return to London!

Oh, what a fabulous night on Sunday! The indigO2 club packed in anticipation for the one-night-only return of De La Soul…and they did not disappoint! The place erupted for such gems as Me, Myself & I and Ring Ring Hey Hey. They certainly worked the crowd well, the old magic still evident despite the passing years. I last saw these guys back in the late nineties at The Forum (I think!) but I never dreamed that I’d one day share their stage for an awesome return to form.
